   Go for a keyboard that is at least half decent as one of the better mechanical keyboards

   I bought this keyboard some 4 months ago and I really wasn't expecting much due to the price. However the reviews were quite good and the price was low enough so I took a shot in the dark and ordered it.

   But now, after using this keyboard for almost 4 months, I really regret that I bought this keyboard instead of buying one from the better known brands. I know that I shouldn't have expected much considering the price but this keyboard is even worse than my old HP keyboard. Please know that there are a lot of other options and in any case, don't go for this.

   The problems with this keyboard:

   #1 The physical build is bad, to the point that the keycaps feel like they were picked out of a toy. The lights on the board are misplaced and really don't show if the caps/num lock is ON or not. And the overall build is poorly done and if you try, you can even bend the keyboard!

   #2 And now the typing experience. The thing that matters the most for a good keyboard. And for this one, it's ABYSSMAL. Yeah, it's so bad that a cheap notebooks keyboard will have a better experience. The keycaps are so small that you'll find yourself pressing all the random keys except for the correct one because of this and the ENTER key — oh it's so badly placed and small that I don't have words for it. And the key-placement, it's as bad as the keycaps are. The ENTER key is small and weirdly misplaced (as stated before) and for some god-forsaken reason, there are BACKSLASH and SQUARE-BRACKET keys above SHIFT! You'll find yourself pressing them instead of SHIFT when trying to type upper-case letters.

   #3 Durability. As I mentioned in #1, the build-quality is terrible. The WASD (blue-painted) keycaps faded after 3 months of usage (and I don't even game >2hrs a day). And the overall durability isn't great — I'm not sure if this will hold up if dropped to the floor.

   In the end, all I can say that don't buy this. There are better alternatives (the Logitech keyboard which is going for ~600 bucks now is a good example), even Dell's chiclet keyboard is better than this crap. I've already placed an order for a TVS Bharat Gold USB keyboard but if you aren't willing to shell out 2K for a keyboard then the Logitech one is a good alternative.

   And generally, one shouldn't buy computer components from random brands like this; I learned it the hard way. Don't make the same mistake.

   Never thought I'd write a review 3 1/2 years later

   I purchased this keyboard in October 2019 and I used it for a year. It was mostly for gaming purposes. After a year, my friends told me I NEED to upgrade to a mechanical keyboard because it was a better fit for gaming purposes. I obliged and I purchased a mechanical keyboard for 2k and it stopped working in a year. I bought another mechanical keyboard for 3k, but this one stopped working in a year as well. So I told myself that I need to go back to the regular keyboard style and I found the Amkette keyboard I had purchased 3 1/2 years back in October 2019 in the storage. I plugged it in, and it still works?! I couldn't believe it. And the truth is, the keys are so much softer and easier to use. I absolutely love the shortcut keys on the sides of the keyboard for volume control. Everything about this keyboard is perfect. Trust me, I've used other keyboards enough to know this.

   Keyboard with UK layout.

   Keyboard is good, sturdy build, value for money. One thing to keep in mind while buying is that this is a UK layout keyboard where the"enter" key is bit short in the second row. It was a bit uncomfortable for me while typing. Otherwise it's keys are quite attractively designed with proper colour combination. Overall the product is good and I'm satisfied.

   Great Value and Durability!

   The Amkette Xcite Pro USB Wired Keyboard is a fantastic buy at ₹399! I purchased it on March 11, 2023, and it has proven to be very functional and durable since then. The UV-coated keys feel great to type on, and the 10 instant one-touch multimedia keys are a nice touch for easy access to functions. With three LED indicators, it’s easy to see the keyboard status. Overall, it’s still worth every penny and a great choice for anyone needing a reliable keyboard for their laptop or PC!

   Good but stop working

   The product is good no hate but maybe now it's 1 year I have bought this product it's same as new I have kept it as my usage was very less then also one side whole section stopped working and I think I can't claim that from the brand maybe my luck or something the keys are smooth to operate
   It's a full size keyboard looks also good wired connection build is decent durable avg not hard core
